My Pinto names
« on: December 19, 2010, 05:02:42 PM »
Pinto Family....I've really liked the fact that a lot of you have named your Pintos.  At times some of you have encouraged me to name mine; therefore, after much thinking, I have new names for the Pintos.  They are as follow:

1972 Ford Pinto Runabout is now the "Siscoe Kid"
1971 Ford Pinto Trunk Model is "Spencer"
1977 Ford Pinto Squire is "Phyllis"

The holidays have come around, and it's got me to thinking of old friends who have passed; therefore, I'm going to name my Pintos in their honor.  Miss you guys!!!!!! now I'll remember you forever.   Larry :police:
Had a 1971 trunk model in High School, wanted another for old times sake, just purchased another in Washington State, very nice restore project.  I also own an all original 1972 Ford Pinto Runabout, one owner, always garaged, with 33,000 actual miles.  Life is SWEET!!!!

hobbit1games:  Yes, I've seen most seem to name their Pintos.  I have had several members tell me I should name mine.  I've been thinking a lot about it, and I think I've done a good job.  Love the Peno name, and I'm sure it just fits perfectly with the personality of your car.  Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

My blue 78 that has been in the family since it was new has always been known as "The Pinto". I called it "The Blue Pinto" when talking to friends, I personally call it "Mr. Tadakichi", but because it was the only Pinto I knew of while growing up, it will always be turely known to me as "The Pinto". :)

My 73 Station Wagon is known as "Brownie" to those to care and know me and my Pintos, but to others it's known as "The Wagon".
