Im trying to trace down a short, so I need the schematic from headlight switch to lights and also turn signal indicators.

The problem I am having is the turn signal indicators stay on when the headlights are turned on. The indicators blink when the turn signal is activated, but they just stay on once the turn signal is disengaged. I replaced bulbs all the way around car, replaced the the turn sinal relay and flasher relay, and still no change. I pulled sah and my test light shows there is power to both the turn signal indicator lights when headlight switch is activated.

This is why I need a schematic to trace the wires down form turn signal indicator plug behind dash cluster and see where it leads to.

According to my 1972 wiring diagrams, the grille mounted park/turn lights should be on when the light switch is both in park and in the head light position.  Note these are dual element lamps one filament for park and one for turning.  You may not have a problem.  If you PM me your email address I will send you scans of the wiring diagrams so you can make sure I interrupted them correctly.
