I'm posting this here for future reference. This is from Chip Givens on the FB group. This is a new replacement for the turn switch

Cool. Thanks for posting. Is there a tech section on site where this kind of stuff can be found? I'm going to be looking for a lot of different parts over the next while.

My 72 wagon uses the same turn signal as a Mustang. The Ford number for a 71-72 Pinto is D2ZZ-13341A which is interchangeabl e with several other Ford cars. When my turn signal finally died, my mechanic called National Parts Depot, among other suppliers, and asked for a Pinto turn signal unit. Of course they just laughed. I gave him the original part number and told him to ask for a 71-72 Mustang with-out tilt steering wheel turn signal and there was no problem finding a new part.
*The Original Family Car: A 1972 Pinto Wagon*
Ordered by my folks from Bunnell Motor Company, Inc., Bunnell, Florida
Delivered: June 20, 1972
Entrusted to my care: August 1976
