Looking for frame mounts for 2.3L
« on: September 07, 2016, 04:49:04 PM »
My restore project car had a V6 2.8L and has V6 frame mounts.  Really need 2.3L frame mounts so I can put my motor in it.  76 pinto sedan.  Cant find a junk yard in my area with anything 70's ford. MII, pinto, Fairmont.

Does anyone know if the frame mounts can be ordered OEM or a pinto junkyard somewhere.

Thanks everyone.

Kevin

Best bet is to check ebay or what you've done on here and post an ad.

Would an early 80's Ranger frame mount work?  Or a Courier pickup?

I'm expanding my junkyard searches....

If it's not a Pinto/Bobcat it may work, it may not work. If you want to try then give it a shot but not saying it will or will not work.

For all motor mount needs, contact JEGS @ Jegs.com if they do not have it they can build for you
