What the heck did you pull with your Pinto?  One of those big 'ol boats over to Bull Shoals?

Three dirt bikes & trailer / Pinto Drag racer (tow bar) / Pinto autocrosser (tow bar) / Quad runner & trailer / etc / etc. Do you think NAPA is stupid enough to sell them if there was not a need? Pinto will do just fine pulling just about anything that doesn't out weigh it.

Actually, Napa is stupid due to the fact that their computer ( says) they have a part but when you get there they just cant seen to find it. Dick, this would be better suited if it were in the classifieds section.  ;) FYI, I have seen a Pinto towing a small trailer before. :o

I see one pulling a 4x8 trailer every week!
Of course it's just hauling off the trash!... believe it or not, my pinto out pulls my 3.0V6 taurus wagon!! (hmmm maybe it could actually PULL my taurus wagon.....)
How to tell when a redneck's time is up: He combines these two sentences... Hey man, hold my beer. Hey y'all watch this!

With all the hills in east Tennessee, that must be one stout Pinto. I've never had any trouble towing with that C5 tranie either. Try it, you'll like it. And yes as Turbopinto said, "GOOD ONE !!!

Several years ago I towed a 1965 Impalla SS convertable 26 miles up and down hills to get the car home.  2.3, 4 gear. No Ill effects on the car.  . :P... thats one tow story.

And another...
Also don't let your sister drive the Pinto wagon when towing a 64 chev impalla with a chain. She drove away without making the chain taught first. :o
Ripped the bumper right off the pinto and damaged the quarter panel as it came off. The guys at the garage where we were
couldn't stop laughing as I quickly re hooked up and drove away properly. ( I drove this time, she steered the 64)

In the above stories, the towing was done with the same 77 Pinto Crusing Wagon. Just to clearify. ;)
