2.57 2nd gear trans
« on: June 17, 2004, 08:07:21 PM »
We're running a pinto mini stock at a dirt track here in CA.  Looking for a trans that came in 75 & 76 pinto wagons, the german 10 bolt topcover, screw in shifter type with a 2.57:1 second gear.  Unfortunately, there is no tag# or anything else to ID this trans; the only way to determine if it is the 2.57 trans is to put it into second and see if 2.57 turns of the input gives 1 turn on the output
