FW: Pinto Meet.......Wishing I could be there!
« on: April 24, 2005, 10:56:59 AM »
Hi Tony - I am just so green eyed envious I cannot attend your meet you just dont know. It is sad - for years I have been just trying to find another Pinto owner in my state to kick tires with, for two years I have had a posting on a  NJ State of Board looking for another Pinto owner who might be interested even  meeting in a parking lot.
I feel so alone in this...I can survive but wanted to commend you on the work and efforts and if I was there I would be glad to even help you if I could altho I am somewhat disabled now I have organized and worked several car shows in the past and thrown two road and trip rallies by  myself (AACA) when I had my old Plymouth and belonged to the purists club.
Well I wish you the best of luck and sunniest of weather...I will be there in spirit for sure. Hope you take some pictures to share with us who cant be there. I wish ya the best, I know it will be fun.

Hello Members,
This email was sent to me because I'm posting the P.F. Meet on all the groups I belong to.
Trying to bring in all the Ford Pinto members-owners that are available.
Not tring to steal the spotlight from anyone.
It is you guys that are doing the great job!
I'm just tring to promote your work.

Hey Brad,
Steve has his eye on the Sprint Pinto.
Scot sent me photos of the Pinto before it went on Ebay.
 Too rough for me.
I think I have sold my Pangra
I was thinking that the pannel I sent you is not what the pangra front end is supposed to have.
I thought there was a special fiberglass pannel that went there???

As the "organizer" of the Pinto Meet, I WELCOME your efforts to advertise this. I'm trying to get a couple local Pinto owners to show up at least for Saturday. while they're not "members" of the forum, I'm sure they'd be welcome.one of them is in the gallery under racers as Pete's Pinto. Locally EVERYONE knows this car as just that "Pete's Pinto" & he's knows as "Pinto Pete"  The guy I bought my car from HAD an '80 Bobcat drag racer, but sold it recently. He may show with his '67 F100 called "Pro Farm"
How to tell when a redneck's time is up: He combines these two sentences... Hey man, hold my beer. Hey y'all watch this!
