OK folks, here we go. Time for us Northern Californians to show off our Pintos in force. Hopefully, some of our southern CA friends can join us again. We had 9 Pintos(and other Pinto owners) last year, time to break the 10 barrier!! The date is September 13th, 2009 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The location is the Solano County Fairgrounds in Vallejo, CA across the street from Six Flags Marine World. Those of us who have attended in the past know what a super show this is- 28 seperate classes of Fords. If you love Fords, this is the show for you. I talked to my hubby today and things are looking good for driving the Ghost to this show!!! I think I got him convinced to take the day off!! Yippeee!!!! Trying not to get to excited yet though! LOL

I plan on driving the Ghost around town for the next week or so, to make sure she is up to the drive! I will drive her to work and back for a while too. I normally only take her out once in a while! No A/C is kind of a turn off when it comes to 100 degree weather!! LOL

So hopefully this show is a go for me!!!!

Hi Kim: You will not be dissapointed with this show. If you love Fords and Pintos in particular, you will have a super time. As mentioned in their flyer, the food service is very spotty; you might consider bringing a picnic lunch. I've seen the vendors run out of food and drinks. Look forward to seeing you and your hubby. Like usual, I'll be at the show with my 75.
Along with my cousins from So Cal and their cars.
As of yesterday, my boyfriend picked up a 72 runabout (what have I done to him? HAHA!), so more than likely his car will be there too!

This may be a dumb question, but what class does the Pinto fall under?? I am trying to fill out the entry form and I don't see Pinto on the list. Is it 28, All Other Fords/Mercurys???

Hey everyone,

I'm registered and will be there for sure. I have to swap out a new cylinder head I just got(to fix my oil burning, but may wait till after the show to avoid any last minute surprises. the car runs fine just spews from the exhaust valve guides.

How many of you guys will have V8 Pintos at Fun Fords? I just scored a V8 Mustang II parts car and am having the 8" rear, motor mounts, exhaust manifolds and whatever else I may need to swap in a V8 shipped out here.

ok boys and girls next weekend is the big deal time to roll with your pintos and come out to the show. too bad there isnt a way for all the club members to meet at one show!!! that would make history and newspaper headlines.!!! :hypno: i could just see guys with mutiple pintos having their own zip code wow. anyway someday maybe it could happen but money and work ususally somehow get in the way. :evil:so if you can come to the show ill see you there chris

Chris is at it again- not sleeping well?? Sit in a quiet corner with your eyes closed and take 25 deep breaths. That should lower your heart rate.
