Hey Pintony,
Great thread!!!
Man you do good work!! Your photos on rebuilding the back panel are very helpful. I'd like to know how you keep the sheetmetal from distorting when your welding?
Before I got into the junk buisness I was a welder for about 10 years.
On my own projects I've replaced sheet metal on bodys before,.. but I've allways disasembled them at the nearest factory pinch weld, spot welding them back together a few welds at a time and letting it cool. I tried working non supported sheetmetal on a 66 GTO once, and I did more harm than good.

Pintony, get a hold of me if you could. I am going to be coming through St. Louis either Tuesday or Wednesday and if you have any good used tires, I need four ;D

Hello Mark,
What size tires do you need?
I should have the day off tuesday unless I get called in.
From Pintony
175/80R/13 or something that will fit a stock wheel. It might be Wednesday morning before I come through there or MAYBE Tuesday afternoon/evening. I am doing some work in Branson and a lot will depend on how that goes.
GREAT project by the way. You should drive one of them up to WI August 2nd ;D ;D
