I CAME ACROSS THIS FUEL FILTER THE OTHER DAY AT WORK.FITS 5/16 HOSE,FILTERS BETTER THAN PAPER AND LOOKS COOL TOO.

 Looks cool, but I would be kind of afraid of a plastic filter.  Seems like it would be more likely to catch fire if it got too hot. But maybe I'm just being too worried about something that may not happen since I guess they wouldn't be made if dangerous.

I WOULD'NT BE CONCERNED ABOUT FIRE HAZZARD SINCE ITS NOT OVER THE EXHAUST SIDE OF MOTOR.I HAVE BEEN RUNNING THE 33002 PLASTIC FILTER FOR YEARS.

Plastic fuel filters have been used for decades. The only suspect issue might be the inferiority of assembly if it is a cheap product (but not being plastic in and of that). By that I mean that the upper portion separates from the lower which is more a matter of manufacture.
