This morning I got off work and even though I had been up most the day yesterday and all night last night, I wasn't tired. So I turned on my favorite news channel. CW31. I was kinda watching and surfing the forum at the same time and I heard Mark S Allen make a comment about the Pinto, and he said something about how they exploded! I twittered them and said this "Hey, tell Mark S Allen to quit picking on the Pinto! The go boom factor was over rated!! I currently own 6 Pintos!!!!

" They twittered me back with this.. "I hear ya! we'd loooooove to come do a liveshot with u and the pick-on Pinto's email cody at ----------"!! They also emailed me!! So I emailed them back!!!

They are willing to wait till next weekend and I asked if we could do it on Sunday the 2nd. I haven't got an answer yet on the date!! But I am sure it will be ok for Sunday the 2nd!!

So you guy's need to send me some info on the thing how they supposedly used a ignition point to get the car to explode for the video. I read it on here somewhere but don't remember where. I'm going to probably talk about how if Ford would have just delt with the issue when if first happened, that the Pinto wouldn't have gotten that much attention and that even today cars blow up when being hit! Just the last couple days to SUV's rolled over and went up in flames!! Also I will try to mention about the fact that at the time the Pinto came out, it was mostly big cars it had to run against, and obviously a big car can do some damage on a small one! Today there are more little cars then big!! LOL Don't hold me to all of this though, I may get nervous and clam up!! LOL

Also if any of you want to be on tv with your Pintos, come to my house!!! If you live somewhat close that is! LOL PM me if you want my address!!! I will keep you all informed on what happens with the date!!

I'm going to have a busy week, washing 6 Pintos!! LOL

Make sure you bring up the point about the mid 70's Chevy pickups and the Ford Crown Vic being a bombshell as well....I hate non Pinto people...lol

Ok, they contacted me just a little while ago. They will be here for the 8am segment. Usually the way the do things is they will "tease" you about the upcoming story a few times before the actual story. So I'm not sure when the teasers will be, could be around 7.30 or may just start teasing at 8 and have the story later in the hour?? So start watching around 7.30am!

Sure wish we could get some of you that live close by to do a road trip that morning! Would be great to have a few more Pinto nuts here! Like a mini meet! LOL

I'm not sure what they will talk about though. It sounded like they were more interested in me having 6 Pintos, then the actual history. So no guarantees on what is said! LOL

Oh, and the last time I was on their show, I fumbled my words! I actually get embarrassed real easilly, so I can't believe I am doing this! Last time they focused more on the slot car track then me though, so it wasn't to bad! LOL So don't laugh at me when you see it!! Oh, and it is a live shot, so if I screw up, it gets aired!! :hypno:

Yah, I'm going to put my 8x11 PCCA paper thingy in the front windshield of the Ghost!! The Ghost and the Green Machine also have the window clings in the back windows!!

Perhaps if 6 pintos aren't enough, you could get Mike Streets to show up with the BossPinto and "The Starsky and Hutch Pinto" isn't too far away either. Mine is minus fuel tank and Trans and wouldn't move except on a trailer. I'd like to make them eat their Mockish perceptions of the Car. But be careful that show has a way of exploiting people who take things seriously, on camera, and it's all for ratings. If you can handle the attitudes, it's good PR for the Club.

I circled the box you need to click in to watch live!

Sorry the pic is so small, hopefully that helps!!

You may have to download a player, but their site will let you know once you click on the link to watch. If you have dial up, I don't think it will work, but you could give it a try! Good luck!!

We have been busy today! LOL Had a yard sale till about 3pm at my hubby's work. Then we had to run out and feed our friends animals. Then we came home and finished putting the Grey car back together, then had to wash all of them!! They are finally in place for tomorrow. All we have to do is pull The Green Machine and Ghost forward and open the gates, then put them back in front of the line!!

I took a few pics of the set up as of tonight. I will take more tomorrow once we have the gates open!

Here we are putting the engine in the wagon!!!!!!

We were trying to get the front end down a bit so it looked like there was an engine in it! LOL

This is the side beside the house, behind the gate. That is why you can't see the Ghost. Also, hubby put his Maverick at the back of the pack! LOL

I don't know! I havn't heard anything from them since they told me the time, and they haven't said anything on their teasers either! Ashly Williams is the one that contacted me and aaid 8am, but they show her doing some comedy thing at 8am! Maybe I was cut?? $:-\$

Ok, I actually recorded it on a vhs tape and I went in and watched it and I looked fat!!!!! LOL That and I did stumble. One time it was because I could here feed back in the ear piece. I was hearing myself talk and you can (once you see the video) see in one shot that I try to tell the camera man I could hear myself! LOL

Anyway, I was so nervous because I had to do it myself with out a reporter so I fogot to mention the forums name! LOL That and the big PCCA pic I have was in the front window of the wagon and he just shot the stuff in the back! LOL

It was fun though!! And my Pintos were on tv! LOL

I tried to go to their video area too. It doesn't seem to be working right. I couldn't find it either, but the camera man said it would probably be on there eventually! I will check later today. I also recorded it on vhs, so I will have my kid help me put on the computer as soon as he can!

It didn't go like I thought. Meaning I thought we were going to go in the direction of the go boom factor. It ended up being just a collection thing. This news show does skits on anything people collect. They have done anything from Elvis stuff to the Taco Bell Chihuahua! LOL

This is the best news or not news, lol, show I have ever seen! I like the weekends the best because I like Cody, but the weekdays are good too!!
