Havn't taken my eBay Pinto apart yet, but is has a bad enigne knock.
It runs and drives but will knock unless kept at low rpms.
Can this condition be adjusted away?
I have seen tips like:
replace the cam with ranger rolling cam
lubricate the lifters

I am going to try lubing the lifters. Any other suggestions before I go seriously tearing the enigine apart?

Hello rokarolla,
Sounds like a bad lifter ot a broken valve spring.
Pull the V.C. and let us know what you found.
The ranger cam is a great retro-fit to the early 2.3...
