Hi Pintomaniacs,

My '71 factory Pinto manual calls it the "Special Maverick: Ford of Germany"
4-speed. It might be related to the "Rocket" 4-speed that Quaife
sells and I'm pretty sure the T-9 is based on it's main case and
mechanicals... just a 5th gear added to the back in the redesigned
tail. Oh yeah, it's also called the "Type-E" sometimes. Anyway who
really know or cares about these gearboxes? I'm looking for history,
rebuild/overhaul parts or kits (a tranny specific manual would be
helpful too but I don't think it exists). Your advice is greatly
appreciated.

Can anybody help?

Thanks,

Steve
