« on: May 26, 2012, 02:36:08 AM »
Hey all,  I am needing a bit of help with setting up a MSD 6AL ignition into 78 with 2.8.  i have read the manual a few times and here is where I am stuck

http://www.msdignition.com/uploadedFiles/MSDIgnitioncom/Products/Ignitions/6420_instructions.pdf

scroll down to pages 17/18 and which one do i use?  and is this silver box in pic what i splice into?

thanks in advance

The silver box is the voltage regulator for the alternator. You shouldnt have to splice that with anything.
'73 Sedan (I'll get to it)
'76 Wagon driver
'80 hatch(Restoring to be my son's 1st car)~Callisto
'71 half hatch (bucket list Pinto)~Ghost
