Does anybody know some history of the engine?
« on: July 01, 2003, 04:18:48 PM »
Hullo there,

I am actually trying to research the lima designed ford ranger 2.3/2.5L SOHC 4 banger, and the closest I have been able to come is the pinto.

Does anybody know of any rescources that have any sort of history of the design...engin e changes and lineage for either the pinto 2000cc or the lima 2.3/2.5L?

Any help is more than appreciated ;D

BAT inc has a catalog just for Merkurs and the 2.3(you may download the pdf below or at their web site, below too). I see they have a short history of the Lima engine.
