The tallest part. the very top of the throttle body and the linkage will do fun stuff like jam open. it'll whack the hood just to the drivers side of center. Pinto 5.0 Nope it cant its an early tall 0000 manifold not :: where the upper meets the lower. no chopping and for sure no rotating. the solutions are. drill new holes and lower the motor mounts, cut a hole in the hood and put on a scoop or just get a proper one, fuel rails are not the same from inline to 4 square, you need injectors anyway. efi and turbo intakes are the same year to year so your not getting an upgrade using the early svo one. . the only thing the inline one will give you is a little longer runner building a smidge more down low torque for a tradeoff of grief, crappy engine access and more grief... if it still doesn't fit with the short intake you can take the upper to your local welder and have them chop out a 3/8th's inch and weld it back up, sawsall and sand out the upper divider and knife edge your lower while its open (or not. it trades torque for rpm) . You can also rotate and reroute to your visual pleasure
semi related you talked about maybe a turbo later, that means either repinning or replacing the harness to the ecu, said ecu and some sensors. cast pistons and 9 to 1 should take 7lbs intercooled on 91 without grenading. Please note the disclaimer of "Should"
Complete donor using everything but the longblock FTW. Unless you pop in forged slugs NA inject it and enjoy it.
