2g alternator swap
« on: May 18, 2006, 05:35:04 PM »
Hi all.  Has anybody here swapped their old alternator for a 2g or 3g unit.  I'm re-doing my wiring from scratch and want simplify what I can.  The things I am curious about are the way it fits and the belt alignment.  Also, I would like to do the remote sensing setup that mad enterprises does http://www.madelectrical.com/electricaltech/remotevoltagesensing.shtml.

It seems like it should work, I just want to know if anyone else has tried something similar. Thanks.
