george, it is riverside. i had a friend take a look (an avid & long time road racer) and he has provided some pictorial views of riverside tha confirm it

Pretty sure it's Willow Springs, doesn't look at all like Riverside

this is/was my buddies car in the 80's.  i have run at the old Riverside Raceway & I can't picture in my mind this area of the track.  I wonder if it may be out in Willow Springs?
