Carlisle deal gone bad-- Rectifyed
« on: December 09, 2007, 07:47:00 PM »
This is my story & I'am sticking to it. At the June Ford Carlisle Meet I made a deal with a fellow PCCA member. I gave this person 2 early nos Pinto inner metal fenders. In return I was to be sent a nos right inner fender & a rad support. Well after several emails with no replies I finally recieved a reply. It stated he had no excuse for not sending them & he would get them around & email me for my address. Well i got an email asking for my address. Guess what, I still don't have my parts. A couple more emails & no replies. So this is why I'am posting this here. This member is on here about ever day & is a respected member by most. I'll post this in hope that he will see it & send me my parts before I say who it is. I think i've been patient enough. 6 months waiting for parts from what I thought was a trustworthy & honest person. Goes to show you got to be careful.

Well you do not have to worry Dennis.
 As it is ME Pintony
And No I do not have an excuse!
I'm just not that good at getting parts packed and mailed.
I guess I'm just too buisy or too lazy top pack and ship BIG items.
I'll try to find some boxes this week and send your items.
 Again sorry for the delay.
From Pintony

P.S. I should have made the deal that I would bring your parts to Carlisle in 2008.
At the time I was not thinking about shipping such BIG items.

So what's the deal ? I realize there were a couple holidays in the past month. But what about the other 6 months.

I don't get it Tony.....you tell him to stop wasting your time with links.....yet you've wasted how much of HIS time.....waiti ng for his parts to be sent on a deal made last June!  We as admin/moderators should not have to get involved in this stuff.....but as  Dennis said your a respected member of this site with vendor status and we can't have you messing around like this with our backing. It looks bad on you and us (site)  Please deal with this NOW.  Jeff

Hey Pintony, I'll keep an eye out for the USPS truck. But not the Dachshund.

Pintony, The parts will surely help the old wagon out. Since the old ones are a little cut up.
   Thanks again.
