Reads as if the writer was letting out some long-held frustrations: "the public's polluted perceptions" indeed!

Just a passionate car guy.  John Clor from the Ford performance group has owned Pinto's, his wife currently has one, he has written books on the Mustang and has owned those as well.   He has fought the Pinto fight and is a true freind of the Pinto community even when at times it was not the popular thing to do.

It was a fantastic article. Too bad he didn't mention that "Ford Tough" red '71 with the 1.6 that came all the way from Oceanside California and back without stepping one tread onto a trailer... ::)
