78- 289 conversion swap...
« on: May 11, 2012, 10:49:46 AM »
I have the 78 Pinto with the 2.3 motor and trannie removed.  I have a 66 289 (getting rebuilt) with a 4 speed T10 from a 66 Mustang.

I need help getting the motor and transmission installed in the car.  I am not sure where to start to look for motor mounts etc.  I am at a loss.

I purchased a manual from ebay which really didn't tell me anything I don't already know.

I need pictures showing placement, motor mounts etc.

Any help and direction would be greatly appreciated.  My son has a 78 also and has a 302 to put in his car.

Thanks
