Who rebuilds seatbelts?
« on: March 30, 2013, 08:46:19 PM »
My 1973 has the two-part lap/shoulder belts common at that time. (1972 Chrysler had the same kind.)

I have two problems- the floor retraction spring is weak, and the nylon grommet that held the lap and shoulder portions together broke.

Can't find anyone to restore this type of belt. Got any leads? If not, can the 1973 be retrofitted with a one-piece lap and shoulder belt? I never use the lap belt alone anyway.
