My introduction and Turbo Pinto
« on: November 03, 2014, 10:07:57 AM »
Hi Guys, My name is chip AKA biggrgivens on several boards. I've had a love for turbo 2.3's for at least 12 years and have built Turbo Tbirds, and SVO's. The first car I took my drivers test in was a Pinto, and I always wanted to give it a shot.

I went on craigslist and found a car that looked like a good prospect. It wasnt perfect, and had rust, so to me it would be the perfect prospect. I didnt want a perfect restored car to cut up and beat on, and just needed a car that I could drive home with current tags.

I flew out to Seattle and drove her home LA California. It was a straight 13 hour drive with no sleep, but she made it over the grapevine and grant pass. Trust me when I say there was many prayers on the trip.

Got her home and it took me about two weeks for total install

I would like to thank Pinto Barn, Joey, and earl for advice and help getting this car running.
