You should, but you know my 2.3 EFI conversion has been sitting for awhile now. It just got busy in the shop and I am not getting things completed. Almost done with my King Cobra too. I took on too many projects here :( I thought my shop was big enough and it's not actually.

I'm itching to get all my cars done LOL I started a 92 RS Camaro 25th Anniversary and doing a quarter panel on a 93 for a customer - love welding and hate grinding! Having so many parking spaces is bad LOL

It's been a long time getting my Pinto back from a friends paint shop, but it's finally back. I'll be doing some block sanding on drips on the car now. But it still looks good :)

I need clips, does anyone know where you can buy these so I can get the molding back on the wagon?

The wagon is looking great , on the over drive will have to check and see what they used overseas on the 2.0'. They ran that same engine up past the 90s and know if they stuck the A4LD behind the 2.0 all you would need is the flywheel and bel housing , then find a early 85 bronco II with the A4LD and use that one , no computer needed ,  go to transmission center website and look up the write up on that trans ,  also you can ask Dutchwagon72 on this site , he has a 72 pinto wagon overseas and can look for you , he just got finished with a 2.0 fuel injection insatall , later Blaine

I was hoping for something simple LOL This isn't a daily drive though so it's kind of OK without it.

Thanks Blaine!

Not yet. Injured my back bad so driving another car for now. I also have to put in the dyna mat and find clips for the molding. Know where to buy those?

Go to your local body shop supply, bring you trim with you they should have a display with a tom of different clips you can match up ones that will work, I have done this countless time and it has never failed me yet.

Dianne, the yellow wagon is looking better and better!
As for Blaine's suggestion for the auto 2.0, A4LD was indeed mated to later Pinto 2.0's in Europe.
See image for example. Lot's of these lying around because people are discarding them all the time, they only keep the engines. Should be possible to find a flywheel and bellhousing if you want me too look for them.

Thanks for the compliment Dutch! What flywheel did you use and converter? Is it something I can find in the states? On the highway this one isn't too good and wines a lot. The 79 is going to be my daily driver and the 73 wagon and King Cobra are for fun :)

Let me know what those came out of there!

Thank you so much!!!

Sorry, but I have to explain; the unit in the picture isn't mine, I've got a T9 5-speed behind a 2.0 EFI.
I posted the picture to show that we do have A4LD's mated to Pinto 2.0 engines in Europe (in Ford Sierra's and Scorpio's). I don't know what flywheel, converter and bellhousing they use, but I could keep an eye open for them.
I don't think you will find these parts in the States.

Thanks Dutchwagon for looking this up for us , cheep way for us here would just have a wrecking yard there remove the belhousing from the transmission and stuff the torque converter and flywheel Into the belhousing and box it up and just ship that , plenty of A4LD trans here to both it too,  I am so glad I put one in mine to rid of the high speed BUZZ on the open road , bet that T-9 make it very quite on the hwy , thanks again to our overseas Pinto Buddy ,

Well the stock A4LD transmission is the same for the 2.3 except for the dowel pin size on the engine , and that is easy to be made , so really the only thing you need is a flywheel , ask Duchwagon if he can hunt one down for you , they came in the sierras and Scorpios over there with the 2.0s , then its a bolt in , or check E-Bay England or UK
Or burton power, I brought a few things for my 2.8 V-6 from them, send a e-mail and ask, or just collect everything and do it at a later time ,
