« on: August 10, 2017, 01:08:13 PM »
Has any one ordered a 8 or 12 point roll bar kit frim any of the offerings available ? Curious hiw fitment was. I had one guy quote me 1.600 built and installed for a 6 point here in Alberta which seems steep.

Seems to me, Bud, with the yellow wagon, used one from this site: http://www.swracecars.com/store/10-Point-Roll-Cages-OSCAR_32.aspx

Roll cages are on E=gay almost every day. Look under ford pinto roll cages. They look just like S&W cages.

Make sure roll cage or bar is approved/designed for your needs.  Drag is different than road coarse and rally.

Drag racing cages need near .134 thickness tubing. Road racing / rally cages use .093 to .125 wall thickness. Depending on material and weight of the car. So you can see that a drag racing cage is overkill on road racing / rally.

The Autopower roll bar is a perfect fit. Bolts in and clears the headliner. I've had several and they all looked and fit great.

Roll bars / cages from Autopower are cheaper  at IO-Port racing supply.
