Title: Pinto floor pans available
Post by: 71pintoracer on March 06, 2020, 01:02:01 PM
There is a group on Facebook called Pinto/Bobcat Restoration, they are stamping front and rear floor pans. I just ordered fronts for my wagon since l let it sit outside with a leaky sunroof..... :-[
You can send a request to join the group or you can order by e-mail at patti10@aol.com.

Fronts are $80 each side and they can add extra metal to each end if needed. There are pictures on the Facebook group or you can e-mail Patti for pics

OK I got the pans and have them put in. Based on the measurements I was expecting a formed pan that would basically drop in with a few modifications. These are just flat sheet metal pans with the original bead design. Quite honestly had I known that and also known that my brother has a bead roller I would have just made my own and rolled some generic beads into a piece of sheet metal. But they are nice pans so if you want the originals they are a great match. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200424/a7796ca1fa49446be85bb6413306920f.jpg)

You can also get extra metal at each end just let them know how much you need when you place the order. I added 4" to each end, no extra charge.

had to replaced the front drivers side on my 76 , used a replacment pan for a mustang ii , was close enough to look stock , glad the it was just the front I had to replace because it was not long enough to reach the back at all , nice job , make sure the cowl and windsheld is not leaking or it will rust out again ,

Working on the cowl now, driver side is rusted out, passenger side is solid. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200430/fe4aa38486aa3077f54ab585570bb405.jpg)

Yep That would rust out the floors for sure , to bad your so far away you could cut out the cowl out of a parts pinto I have to save time and gray hair , going to cut it in six months for a engine mock up stand for a engine swap ,
