Parts & Stuff, Maybe even needed.

It's cold around here this morning, Snow on the ground -7 air temp -20+ wind chill this morning.

I do things when its warmer, like April!

I've acquired a couple 58-59 Ford 9" housings and a 1975 Ford Bronco 9" housing complete, all with 28 spline axles. Also stuck away a complete Explorer 8.8" with, rear disc brakes, to cannibalize or whatever. Slowly "got" items over time like a new Traction Lock, a 3.40 Gearset, rear 11" disc brake set from a 1990 Explorer Sport, a 11" Speedway, Disc setup, 5 bolt front end kit, plus several 9" pumpkin assemblies. So far 2.75 - 3.25 - 3.40 - 4.11 gear sets.

Because my Engine/Trans are 2016 vintage Ford Truck, the trans output is a flange rather than a slip connection for the drive shaft. After a little searching I found "NERAT DEMO" on the internet. For some reason I have a hankering to stay with the Flange style for my 9" rearend. Nerat has a super Flange assembly for $85.00 that is a pull your yoke and bolt it on. I also acquired his bolt on "1350" style U joint attachment. He machine's his plate for a Strange Engineering 1350 piece and welds them together. Talk about a brick xxit house, its a monster stout assembly. I'm having fun playing with what I may need down the road. Almost like really doing something constructive.

I even walk out to the shed for a few minutes to look at my stripped to the shell 77 Pinto to keep the blood flowing, then run back to the couch to wait for warm weather. Attached a couple of Nerat product pics.
