front clip swap and tubbing question
« on: March 22, 2005, 12:52:17 AM »
I have a 79 that I want to switch to the 71 front end style. I have fenders, hood, grille, and valance. I know the rad support has to be cut to fit the valance. I was checking and it seems it will bolt right on. Does anyone know of any problem I might get into?

Also, I was thinking on back halving the car. Anyone have any tips on tubbing a Pinto?

your fronft fenders should bolt right up, however, the latch formthe hood may not line up right, or be the wrong size. the valiance wilbe ok, jus dont forget the middle bolt, or else the damn thing will rattle like a S.O.B. next, tubs. remove the rear seats, and youl see what you got to play with, not much eitdh, but plenty of length and height.
GET 'ER DONE!!!!!!
