Just got my 1973 Runabout back from the paint shop. New black grille and emblems.
-
The color is a Chrysler color called "Inca Gold"
-

-
I like your color choice. It looks good!
Dwayne :)

Very nice indeed..
-
nice choice.....inc a gold

Thanks. I've gotten lots of compliments on it. When I got it 2 years ago it looked like this.
-
Had lots of chips and needed some body work. Very happy with the improvements.
-

I was thinking the same thing!

It looks AWESOME! Love the color! Looks like it may have back then :)

Keep looking at that color and if I repainted my pinto that would be my first choice, not many colors go good with the whole inside a tan color, just wish my pinto was any other color but brown , often people ask me why I brought it if I did not like the color and I reply back and say because its a Pinto, and also I'm the second owner, I see a future paint job in the works now ,

Yellow would be cool :D I love yellow on these!

I don't think yellow will match the interior of my pinto , got all new carpet, dash pad , seats redone , but I think that Inca Gold would match , very tired of the (turd) Brown years ago 😵c

I can identify with that train of thought. My last two Pintos fall into that category too!

well my pinto cruse wagon is white and the inside used to be all red , removed every thing and restored the dash , added factory A/C , padded the whole floor ,roof and new carpet , but all done in Black , no red left , that give me a book full of color options , but that will be saved for last after I finish whatever engine combo is done , even though your carful you still have the chance of scratching the paint , I always manage to do that every time by accident , now I just paint it last , and for those that are doing a complete remove every thing clean and paint and reinstall the windshield wiper motor make sure you do not have the arm that attaches to the motor 180 degrees out , easy to do, and when you install the wiper arms and blades and turn it on it will NOT go up across the windshield , IT will go downwards across the cowl vent scraping paint and trim along the way , ask me how I know :-[ always check before you install the wiper arms to be safe , later guys

Yikes!!! :o That's the best case I've heard of for leaving paintwork until last!

I bought this brown Pinto with the brown interior knowing that I would, one day paint the exterior gold. The 2 go well together.
-
Pinto_One your interior looks great. Mine is still original but seems to work well with the new paint color.
