Title: My 1978 Pinto were I stand on this
Post by: mrskydog on May 31, 2013, 08:22:43 PM
I am sure if you look back at some of my old Posts on this car you will see the progress of this very cool car. I purchased this cool 78 in hopes of restoring it to its 1970's Retro Era Day After coolness.  I am running short now of  time and space...too many projects going on. This car is very cool and I think I am going to put it up for sale soon? I would love to finish but I dont have the Garage.  As you know I own the 1980 Rallye ,which I purchased after the 78. I will post something soon if I decide to sell. I am in Michigan ,I would love to see someone finish it. Did motor ,and alot of stuff headers, exhaust radiator list goes on..... I willl let ya know later on this as, I Pry myself from it. :'(    Kirk

Pictures below are of the 78 when I first bought it, before any work was done on it.

Of course the Car to the left is my 1980 ..not this car. ;)

Kirk, I remember when you started working on that car.. You're one of the main reason I have a garage full of Pinto's now.  >:( ;D

Thanks John, I have a lot of work and $ that I sunk into it. It could really be a neat little car. I am going to offer it up on the board here soon. I hope someone close by might give it the final push to finish it. I will be want it to go to a good home.   :)  If I had more room I would finish it....

It is good that the interior is in good shape as orange replacement parts are very hard to find in good condition.  It took me 5 years to piece the orange interior in my crusing wagon to where it was decent and those parts were not cheap!
