i have had this car for around 8 years now. i put a 5.0l with cleveland heads paxton supercharger 12psi c6 8.8 rear. drove it for 3 years and split the block in first 3 mains into cam journals and cam bearings fell out.
so i started a new build on it. been working on it for 2 years now

its been a lot of work been doing it all by my self and have a lot of work to go

man that shot of the rear end with the tires is awsome!!! thought about tubbing my wagon, but its a ton of work!!! looks great!! cant wait to see the finished project!!! keep up the great work!!!

Thanks its been a ton of work to get it this far and got lots to go I am happy with the way things are going. I was hoping to be farther along then I am but I have made some changes and redone a couple things.

Simon, wow can I relate to how much work has been done and how much work is still to go. check out my gallery and you will find almost a twin of what you are doing, just didn't do the front frame. keep posting pic's so i can get good ideas for my son and my build. Bud ( aka 79 prostreet)

your car is looking good bud. originally i wasn't going to do the front frame. but it gave me so much more clearance around the engine.
i am stuck on a couple things now haven't figured out what i am going to do with the rear quarters and wheel wells i need to section a piece in them they have been fixed before so be nice to find quarters from another car or new panels.
i change my engine combination and got a tall deck dart aluminum block. built the headers for a standard block. headers fit with this block but oil pan will be close to rack
will be starting on the rad support next and once a get a 4" stroke crank i will start on building a aluminum oil pan

on the other side of the earth from you simon but have a 73 wagon i am parting out, if you need body panels have no problem cutting it up to get you the parts you need to finish that bad @$$ car of yours!!!

bbobcat75 i will look at my quarters this week and figure out what i am going to do. the quarters are in good shape except for around the wheel wells where they have had some pieces welded in before. i need to section about 3" in them for tire clearance i am running 33 by 19.5 tires on a 14" wide rim.
if you have quarters in decant shape mite need some pieces out of them if you ship to canada

got my new jesel shaft mount rocker arms offset .450 intake to fit my AFR 227 competition eliminator cylinder heads

i am going to order a gm metric 11'' brake kit from speedway motors they seem to have good prices. that will be the last thing i need to finish my brake system

i got the dart tall deck block in and mocked up had to drop the transmission mount 11/16 for header clearance at the collectors. other then that everything else fit great

i got a set of fiberglass front fenders will need to get the hood next. the fenders look like they mite need some work to fit.
found a local place that does ceramic coating i will get them to coat my headers after i get the O2 sensor bungs welded in
