Title: HOME BUILT HEADERS FOR 71 PINTO V8
Post by: fordin on May 10, 2015, 10:04:37 PM
I just wanted to share with you all how my headers turned out. they are made from a speedway header kit plus the pre assorted bend kit along with some tubes I had bent. they took about 60 hours to build. plus the 4 hours of installing and header wrapping. 1 5/8 tubes 3 inch collectors , 2 1/2 inch exhaust w flowmasters. i have about 500.00 in all of the materials just for headers, plus a lot of time!!!! well worth it though. runs soooo much better. ps 302 wct5 and 9 inch.

You cannot have exhaust dump under a car (any vehicle) in Canada.

You will / may get exhaust into the car. You'll heat up the diff & gas tank.

Can you shorten the distance from the collectors to mufflers & 45 a tail pipe to dump in front of the back tires ?
