Heddman doesn't make them anymore. A few people have looked into it.

I was in touch with them & no, they will not (ever) make them again.

I have two sets. One set was on a started only engine. One NOS set.
Both will be cleaned up & ceramic coated inside & out.

Sorry, not for sale !

Best & cheapest way to replace them is have another set made, by a good builder.
I think you may still be able to buy the flat collector ?

Stainless headers mfg would be able to help you out.
http://www.stainlessheaders.com/index.aspx

You basically build your own headers out of abs plastic pipe and knuckles and send it to them. They copy it and weld up a nice set of stainless ones.. Expensive but very pretty!

There's a set of Hooker swap headers on E-bay right now for a Pinto. Asking $556. Look under ford pinto headers. Every body I've talked to say the Hookers are much better. LOL

I understand the need for them in certain situations but flat collectors zoop, they do not vacuum from outside pipe to outside pipe very well at all. All 4 need to be in a tight grouping to vacuum each other evenly.

I don't have a set of Hookers, but if I recall, all the ones they made have the back 2 tubes go through the fire wall.
Like the old B2 headers of mine in this topic: http://www.fordpinto.com/your-pintos/new-car-!/90/

At some point I'll be building a 302w for one of my cars. Will have the Headman headers tested on the dyno & post results.

I'm curious, do the Mustang II headers fit it? I found a pair of hookers for mine. They are on ebay once in awhile.
Vehicles:

- 1972 Plymouth Duster (To be a Pro Street)
- 1973 Ford Pinto wagon (registered ride 195)
- 1976 Mustang II mini-stock
- 1978 Mustang King Cobra II
- 1979 Ford Pinto Runabout
- 1986 Chevy K5 Blazer
- 1997 Suzuki Marauder

FORD: Federal Ownership Respectfully Denied

Well the 393w has a dome piston keith craft  brodix heads 210 mill to get the 13.1 a custom bullet solid roller c4 with trans brake 4500 ptc stall 456 gears ran 6.40 in eighth mile on motor 5.90 on spray I would say would ran faster if motor was pushed back also 1.38 60 ft and  dyno 605 at flywheel

Check out the FRPP street rod shortie headers. I think they might work for 302's. Maybe 351W's. Not cheap but well made.

What about 351W Fox swap headers on a 302? Short tubes would tuck close to the block  Long tubes might hang a little low however.
