Heater Control Seized
« on: May 10, 2012, 08:27:02 AM »
72 Pinto Wagon - Blend Door on heater Seized tight.  Short of taking the entire heater out of the car does anyone have any experience here.  Can anyone give me a suggestion to free it up before I tear the whole bloody thing out of the car??  Thanks, jt

You can split the case in the car. There are clips all around it. Take a screwdriver and pop the clips. Pretty easy.

Remove the cables first as they may also be stuck.
