Grandma's Pinto
« on: July 07, 2016, 04:32:34 PM »
Well.... after another six years in the garage, I pulled the '73 out and started in again. This time I actually got it running! Have been told by many that the interior and exterior are in incredible condition, so I'm trying to keep everything I do as close to stock as possible. I'm not good at posting, but I promise to try my best to post my questions and requests to the right spots. If anyone out there can direct me to sources of things like interior paint colors, codes for upholstery, etc., I surely would appreciate it! This little baby was used while I had my learner's permit, and then given to me when my grandma passed away. She had ordered it in my favorite color - yellow! It will make it's debut in the local Concours this Fall if I don't chicken out - again. Thanks to everyone for sharing your knowledge and experience - and...... wish me luck finding the shoulder harnesses. Grandma hated seat belts so she cut them out of the car!

Post a wanted ad in the classifieds for the seat belt.

Sounds like a good car. Have you posted pictures anywhere here yet?

Thanks. I'll try the classifieds. In a conversation with a seat belt supplier, but I think they're going to try to steer me away from my stock belts. I'll be posting a picture soon. Finishing a few more items under the dash and then ready to get back to some detailing. Thanks for responding!

Any chance the Mustang Fox Body belts would work? Might have spares, but not sure about color.
