on v8 projects, what do others use.  I am looking at possibly using QA1, but do not know the weight to purchase.  any input other than corner weighing the car.

Finished an `89 Fox that we used QA1 rear coil overs on. It was a street/strip car with the stock 8.8 and 10 point. If not mistaken we used 350 lb ers. My web guy is about a year behind the curve so pics of this build wont be availablem for about another year, lol. It was an LX hatch and that spring was perfect for the car. I can quarantee this Pinto is not that heavy so the next option down I would use. 300 or even a 280. The kit we used was fully adjustable and setup gave it a slight rake.

If not mistaken we used 350 lb ers.

im thinking you used 150lbs  350 is way stiff for a coil over spring in the rear
