spotted in fresno
« on: May 09, 2013, 01:02:39 PM »
it appears to be a 72 pinto, but something just not rite about it.first theirs the grill emblem, its a blue oval surrounded by a blue bow tie.it has 5lugs at all corners,at the rear it has 16x235x45 firestones. the fronts are 15x195x65 seems rather large for a pinto. it is not  tubbed, but definitely not stock.the tag on the trunk edge reads "pinette"it appears to be a ratty pinto, but when you really start looking there are some serious mods.like the independent rear axle, disc brakes front and rear.its got aluminum a arms top and bottom .and it says boss 350 on its front fenders.

pictures are always worth a lot. sounds like an interesting build.  Chevy motor? curious about the front & rear suspension systems.
the only substitute for cubic inches is BOOST!!!

That's because its Chevy powered and has a 350 in it.

its all c4,pinto on top corvette underwear. really fun,its the only auto trans equip car that will go into a tire spin at 40mph on a second gear kick down. not a chirp,we are talking sideways you better be on it when it hooks tire spin.it does donuts inside of a single parking spot

My 87 S10 with a built 355/Th350 would kick down and get sideways at 40-45...it was quite the rush. Is it carb'd or EFI? If so, what kind of EFI? TPI?

no sadly the disgusting case of auto abuse that was bestowed on the c4 was especially cruel to the tpi.in the end it was feds, cnotes ,cashand when lack of cash affects of tune and ruder come to think of it that was one of the deciding factors to this freakshow of a build
