New Pinto owner!!
« on: April 05, 2016, 04:12:07 PM »
Hello all!!

I recently bought a 1977 Ford pinto. I picked it up for 300 bucks. It has the 2.8 v6 and auto transmission. Its a hatchback. Im going to somewhat restore it and just just drive it and enjoy it. I've always been fascinated by pintos. I dont know what it is but i just think they are cool. I will take pictures of it tomorrow so you guys can see it. I will also take pictures of me getting it running and driving again. Its getting (so-far)New brake system, fuel system cleaned, coolant system flushed, tune up, transmission fluid and filter, oil change, new tires, driver floor board replaced, and anything else on the way that I think may need replaced. It was last running about 5 or 6 years ago. Its Been sitting since then. Wish me luck!!

Congrats James, they are cool pieces of history. Good idea to do what you need to do, to get it running safe.
