Title: changing windshield or fixed windows

Has anyone changed their own windshield, rear window, or quarter windows, basically any of the fixed windows in the rubber seal or is it something that is better off left to professional restoration or glass guys? Just wondering how difficult it is to do, and would probably just be looking at changing the side windows behind the doors for now if I can find a pair of original tinted glasses. It seems the proper way of doing a paint job would be to remove the windows, paint, do vinyl top if need be, and then windows back in last with new rubber.

Check Youtube and Steelrubber they have how to's for a lot of cars.

I did it in my 73 Station Wagon, after watching a professional do it on my 78 Sedan. The only downside to doing it yourself is that if it leaks there is no warranty and you have to do all the reseal work yourself. Not much of a problem on my end though, I think.
