First stage, upgrade where the power is going to be going, landrum springs on all four corners, and pro stock shocks, drop spindles, and 8.8 limited slip with 2.72 gear out of Fox body, to keep bolt pattern

Cleaned and painted the t9 trans, got a 12lb custom made flywheel and custom made Kevlar mixed kinda 2.5 stage clutch with reworked pressure plate

Had to cut and remake the transmission member to make room for the 3" exhaust, and in the pics you can see the Volvo motor mount that screws into the bottom of the trans, and one hole drilled in the middle of the transmission member to bolt the other end of the mount too

Remember when using the t9, might want to cut the shifter and rotate so that it isn't aimed towards the passenger seat

These are the pics with the new heart in and fabbing up the charge pipe going to the front mount intercooler and the wastegate dump pipe that I have vented down to the atmosphere,...... sounds great

The turbo manifold is a cheap center mount xs manifold with a two bolt 34mm wastegate hole

Turbo is the stock merkur turbo with the internal wastegate hole welded closed

Wastegate is a emusa 34mm wastegate with a 10lb spring and controlled by a greddy style boost controller

Question. I've thought about moving the turbo from the 79 Fox Body to the 77 CW, but the wiring looks like a total nightmare. I was wondering does everything need to be reused or can stuff be eliminated. We're NOT smog governed here, not yet anyway. So if stuff can be bypassed/eliminated that would be so awesome. Any helpful links would be greatly appreciated.

Love the bay on yours. That's awesome. Selling one of my rides to help fund the many projects I have (1967 XR7, 77 CW, 79 Fox Body). Really want to get back into this stuff.
