75 Pinto Wagon Kompressor
« on: December 19, 2014, 07:08:36 PM »
Hi everyone
I'm converting my 1975 Pinto Wagon
 2.8 v-6 Automatic to a
2.3 turbo with standard transmission.
Greg on Facebook suggested  I come here
And ask for Fred as he is the parts guru. Lol
Can you help me find Fred?
The clutch pedal is holding up the entire project
Thanks!

Hi!

Yes, Fred Morgan was our Pinto Parts Guru Extraordinaire .  Unfortunately, he passed away about a year ago.  There are other parts vendors here who may be able to help you, though.  Post the items you need and you'll probably hear from somebody.

Thank you Dwayne,
My condolences to the group and  Fred's family.

The parts I'm searching for at the moment are
The clutch and brake assembly for 1974 and newer.
Have a set for a 73, but they won't interchange with
The 75.
Having searched the Internet for a while,  there are plenty
Available,  but the owners act like they are made of gold and
want top dollar above brand new aftermarket.

Just want to get her back on the road.  Miss driving her.
Thank you.

Thanks everyone! I finally found the clutch and brake pedals from a small auto salvage in Texas from a guy named Trenton. Should be here before the 1st. He has at least 4 pintos and has promised me photos to post here. PM me if you want his phone number.
