73 FRONT SUSPENSION UP GRADES

JUST GOT MY FIRST 73 TRUNK MODEL PROJECT AND LOOKING TO UPGRADE THE FRONT SUSPENSION AND WONDERING IF I CAN JUST USE UPGRADES OR IF I HAVE TO DO MORE ,I"M LOOKING TO PUT SOME POWER UNDER THE HOOD AND NOT SURE ABOUT THE FRONT SUSPENSION ANY HELP WOULD BE NICE

IT LOOKS LIKE IS GOING TO BE ABOUT 400HP OF 4CYL MITSUBISHI TURBO SET UP AND A C4 TRANS

About the only thing you can do to early cars is a brake upgrade to Wilwoods & add a front swaybar.

THE MOTOR IS A MITSUBISHI 4G63 WITH A STOCK TURBO AND SOME MINOR BOLT ONS AND WITH A KIT TO INSTALL IT TO A C4 WITH A MINOR STALL AND I THINK IT WILL HAVE 3.73 OR 3.90 GEAR...

They both 4cylinders so I wouldn't think the suspension would need to be upgraded due to the weight.

I heard a few people using modified mustang ii floor pans.watched a video of a foxbody mustang with a 4g63 run the 1/8 mile at 143mph!!!

I'm not sure if 71-73 Pintos even had sway bars but adding one from a later one is easy. My 73 has one from a 75 on it.

MII front pans are close enough as long as you aren't doing a 100 point restoration.
