Title: 1979 Pinto LSX
Post by: adam.e.wood on November 10, 2012, 12:39:10 PM
Well i decided its time to buy a toy/project. Didnt know exactly what kind of vehicle i wanted at first, just new it was gettin an ls swap. Then came across this pinto. CLEAN*** This thing is pretty clean for a 1979. Theres a few dents and scrathes (nothing major) and other than that its rust free with amazing interior. Picked it up for a good price so i cant complain one bit!

HOOD CLEAR MUCH? nope

This is a budget build. Parts and power will be better as time moves on. Hoping for a low 10 second car with spray.  MUCH MORE BUILD PICS AND PARTS PICS TO COME.

DONT HATE, JUST APPRECIATE  ;D

Yes if i had the money i would do all ford parts. But for the money you just cant beat it. I paid 400 for my 5.3 engine with all components.  40 bucks for my th350 and 100 for rebuild kit and 40 for shift kit. 150 for wiring harness, ecu, and fuseblock... By time its all said and done ill have spent less than 4000.00 including all parts and the car itself. Just getting the car done is the hard part.  More fabrication than i wanted to do but im already balls deep so there is no turning back....
