Rubber Booties
« on: August 05, 2015, 04:50:25 PM »
If your Pinto is like most, the rubber boots in the hood hinges looks like a strainer. EASY FIX! Just paint the out side of the boots with Performix Plasti Dip. Its the stuff you dip your tool handles down into. Put a couple heavy coats on and the boots will good for another 35 years or so. Do not use the spray dip. Only the stuff that you use for tool handles. Cheap too! Got mine off of E-gay.
Its better to be a has-been, than a never was.
