Hey I'm a 17 yr old Pinto fan too! They are pretty cool looking, and it was the first truely 'American' compact car to fight all those VW and Honda ricers. Sounds like a decent buy, Pinto prices, even for a car that needs a good deal of work, has risen. But be sure to try and haggle the price down a little, might work it might not. These cars are a lot of fun and so is this website. Good luck!

Started with a Bobcat wagon. Then a Cruising wagon. Now a Chocolate brown 77 wagon. I will enjoy this car for a long time. I'm in. High_Horse

Nice another teenager  :welcome: (im 18) :) glad to have ya onboard. Yeah kinda sounded like my pinto when i got it. It was sitting in a field for 15+ years and it still fired up when i got it. so it sounds like ur turning urs into a show car? nice gotta keep us posted. im gonna be do surgery on mine pretty soon. im giving her a full frame. and the orginal plan was a 2.3L turbo (outa a Turbo Coupe t-bird) but now im thinkin  3.8L Supercharged outa a Supercoupe t-bird :) :fastcar:

Have fun and good luck
