I finally bit the bullet & bought the '71 half hatch I've always wanted. Finding one close to home was proving impossible after 4 years & the cost of a nice "Cali" car exceeded my means so I bought a project from another member. I decided to call her Ghost because I've never seen one in person until this one & I have to bring it back from the dead. Seems fitting

All I need to do now is find time to go & get her so I can get started.
It needs some assembly to get it roadworthy but it's pretty much complete. I plan to drive it daily until a time when I can afford a more in-depth restoration though I don't plan to go nuts on it. Just a good R&R that wont take her out of service longer than a few winter months.
The only rust through on the car is this lower quarter. Luckily I already have a clean lower quarter & drop down to replace the bad area.
It's a 2.0L/4-speed car with a nice black interior. 1 minor crack in the dash pad & the lower seat cushion on the drivers side is worn but other than that nothing needs replaced. I can't wait to start driving this car.
The hatch has only minor surface rust on the lip & the window seal is still soft & pliable. All the rubber is in excellent condition since this car was garaged for years away from the elements.
