Turbo Wagon!
« on: April 23, 2020, 07:43:53 PM »
So while my brother and I were working on the Cruising Wagon he spotted this on Marketplace less than 100 miles away. We went to check it out and I made an offer on it. It followed me home!

No, not going to do anything to it except drive it! I know my Cruising Wagon build is going to take quite a while so I bought this so I would have a Pinto to drive. I did put the decals on the hood scoop and I've done a few minor things but overall It's going to stay the way it is.

Yep, power windows, all in all a really good build. Had a few minor issues that needed attention. He said he always wanted to do a car like this, he is not really a Pinto guy but he is a Ford guy! He said his wife loved the car and drove it a lot.

Incredible find! I wonder how they got enough room to mount that GPS in the dash?

The door panels and matching seats are impressive also.
1973 Pinto Runabout with upgraded 2.0 liter & 4 speed, and factory sunroof. My first car, now restored, and better than it was when it rolled off the assembly line!

The entire area for the radio and underneath was cut out. The heat and A/C is a self contained unit mounted under the dash so no controls in or behind the dash
