That is the whole idea. ;D I have done a lot of things to it so the only way a person can tell that it's not 100% bone stock, is by opening the hood. Just to name a few things I've done...14 inch aluminum rims with cheezy wire hub caps, put gauges where the heater control panel was, but set them back in so I can put the face plate back on to hind the gauges (I had to take out all the heater stuff anyway to do the turbo swap), battery is in back but I took an empty oil case box and cut the bottom out and put it over the battery box to hide it, and I did some other little things to hide stuff.
I took it to get the frontend alined, and the guy said he didn't open the hood till AFTER he was done and took it for a test drive. He told me " I just had to see what that THING had..I knew it couldn't be stock"

That thing is sweet!!  Makes me shed a tear for my deceased 76 wagon, aka the turd. Man I loved that car.....

I only have one pic of it and it's on my site.www.moreboost.tk

I got the starlet as a replacement, but it's just not the same.

Mark :'(

Mark..as I remember right..didn't your brakes go out and you smashed that pinto. :'( Damn..that's too bad..that thing looked clean! If I were you..I'd skip that jap crap and do another pinto. All the blood, sweat and tears I have in mine..if I smashed it..(sorry to say this) I would just kill myself..or at least replace it. Seriously, if your going to do all the work of doing another 2.3T swap..I'd do it in something you really like....PINTO!!! ;D

Yea, that was me.

Story:

After I ran it out of gas, my brother pulled me home with his f150 and the brakes got really hot. Original brake fluid+high temps=air bubbles, I should have rebled them. Needless to say, the pinto didn't fare too well against an embankment at 70 mph. Bent the dashboard, wrinkled the roof, and tore off the pass side front wheel. I guess my car loved me, because I didn't get hurt at all. I got up the next morning to take a good look at it, and when I saw how bad it was bent, I cried like a little baby.  :'( :'( :'(

I am still looking for another one. I may just use the starlet for my tool box for a while if I can find one. ;)
