This car was listed in EBay in Illinois and comes with a ton of Pinto 2.0l engine goodies and enough pieces to get a running example for your vintage rally dreams. Bidding was climbing as this is a LHD Mexico version. Grins from my stable ;D

We had a race driving school owner in Dallas in the 70's that raced a 2.0L Pinto in SCCA rally's. He never won one but he always placed well. Why would an Escort make a better rally racer than a Pinto?

Pintos have #3 cylinder of front axle centerline, Escort? Escort narrower track and Body width?

A bit of history, My Competition that was an example of serious engineering in 1988 era. This car was nationally competitive and frequently spanked us locals in Solo2 class E/P.
