A long overdue "Hi!" from Minnesota
« on: September 21, 2010, 07:12:29 PM »
Just stopped in to say Hi to fellow Pinto fans.  Our blue gal is having a great summer.  She's a 1978 and still is right around 27,000 original miles.  We purchased her 5 years ago on ebay and had her shipped from Pennyslvania.  Everything is original on her.  She is an absolute hit at the "Back to the '50s' car show during that annual event here in St. Paul; we cruise Snelling Avenue and she gets more hoots and hollers than the old, restored classics.  She has a sun roof, too.  Just wanted you to know that our blue gal is still kicking up her Pinto hooves!

She looks like a real beauty!  Glad to hear you're enjoying her!
If you haven't been here much lately, you should check out all the information about Carlisle 2011 and make plans to join us there.  There is a Pinto Stampede driving in across the U.S. with participants from as far west as California.  It would make for a dandy vacation trip, and your Pinto would make an excellent addition to the lineup!

If you still have that Pinto and do the "Facebook thing" check out the Minnesota Ford Pinto Owners Association page and click on Join. Looking to gather the Minnesota Pinto owners together and keep us all informed of local car shows, doings and such.
